Tommaso Vigna holds a Master’s Degree in Music and Theatre Studies (Musicology and musical heritage) from the University of Bologna (2020). He has previously obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano from the Conservatory of Vibo Valentia (2017), and continued his musical education by following the annual piano master class held by M° Roberto Prosseda at the Musicafelix Academy in Prato (2018-2019) and by studying music composition at the Conservatory of Bologna.
His doctoral thesis, under the supervision of Valérie Dufour (ULB), investigates the influence of the Indian thought on the esthetics of Giacinto Scelsi (1905-1988), through an examination of his personal library and a reconstruction of his readings in this field.
